Here is a the latest Alex rankings of these three individual championed blogs, riding on the Web 2.0/Media 2.0 wave. TechCrunch clearly has an edge for now, but GigaOm could be catching up ...

Blogosphere by the Numbers:

Technorati currently tracks 45.1 million sites and 2.6 billion links (6/20/06 at 4:17pm Eastern Time)
The blogosphere is over 60 times bigger than it was only 3 years ago. About 3.9 million bloggers update their blogs at least weekly.
Daily Posting Volume tracked by Technorati is now over 1.2 Million posts per day, which is about 50,000 posts per hour.

How many inbound links there are. Use Technorati.
How much raw traffic each site is sending. Slashdot usually sends 15,000 to 100,000, depending on the sensationalism of the headline.
Anecdotal influence measures.
