Microsoft IE global share Jumps 2.8%, Firefix share declines 1.4%
The
global usage share of Microsoft's Internet Explorer is 85.9%, a 2.8%
increase since July 2006, according
to OneStat.com. The No.2 Mozilla
Firefox's browser has a total global usage share
of 11.5%, a decline of 1.44% since July 2006. The
total global usage share of Apple's Safari is 1.6%, a 0.23% down slide
since July 2006.

Microsoft IE is most popular in Netherlands (88.47%) and UK(87.65%). Firefox is most popular in Germany (33.42%) and Australia (25.55%). Microsoft IE is least popular in Australia (64.10%) and Germany (60%).

the visitors of Internet users arrived at sites that are using one of
OneStat.com's services by using browser Y. All numbers mentioned in the
research are averages of last
week
and all
measurements are normalised to the GMT timezone. Research is based on a
sample of 2 million visitors divided into 20,000 visitors of 100 countries
each day.
