Airbus, Boeing Forecast Clear Skies: 
Airbus and Boeing predict that the market for commercial jetliners over the next two decades will be valued at $2.6 trillion, as two rivals see huge demand from China and India. In recent years, the aircraft makers' market has been valued at about $50 billion annually.

Worldwide AMS Market to Hit $32.2B in 2010; IDC Announces Top 10 Vendors

Worldwide Application Management Services (AMS) market is expected to grow to $32.2 billion in 2010, at a 9.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), according to IDC. The more mature U.S. AMS market accounts for over 40% of the worldwide demand, but is growing more slowly and is expected to reach $13.4 billion in 2010, groaing at a 7.7% CAGR.

U.S. HDTV Unit Sales Jump 80% in 2006; 3.2 million Units in 4Q

More than 3.2 million flat panel HDTVs will be sold in the United States in the fourth quarter of 2006, which is more than twice the number sold in the fourth quarter of 2005, as the HDTVs will be a popular item holiday season, according to Pacific Media Associates.
