10 Best Internet Acquisitions Ever; Newspapers Got the Top 2

Over the thanksgiving weekend, Ashkan Karbasfrooshan came up with the ten “best” Internet acquisitions of all time. (full article at SeekingAlpha). All the Internet biggies -- Google, Yahoo, Ebay, AOL, and even Microsoft -- have figured as the beneficiries of these top deals. However, the No.1 & No.2 deals went to newspaper groups as they prepare for a second life in the Internet era. Here are the top 5:
