November U.S. Auto Sales Fell 0.7% to Lowest Level in a Year
November U.S. auto sales fell 0.7% from the
prior month to 16.04 million vehicles, according
to the Autodata Corporation. This is the lowest level since October
2005.
So far in 2006 vehicle sales have averaged 16.53 million, a decline of 2.4% same period in 2005.
Year to date sales of domestic cars fell 7.7% versus 2005, while the sales of imported autos increased 8.8% year over year on the year to date sales.
