Offline Conversion Benefits of Local Search: 68% Contact by Phone after Online Search
Search
engines have become an increasingly
important part of the online experience of American internet users.
As consumers find online search more convenient than traditional yellow
pages to find local services, local search is experiencing strong
growth.

Global
revenue from online video sales, rentals or subscriptions will total just
$298 million this year, but will grow some 389% in 2007 to hit global
sales of nearly $1.5 billion, according to

U.S. service industries revenue for the third quarter of 2006 was little
