Street bonuses are expected to rise to a record $23.9 billion in 2006 from
$20.5 billion in 2005, according to New York State Comptroller. The
bonuses will generate $1.6 billion in tax revenues for New York State and
another $500 million for New York City.

growers produce nearly $35 billion worth of marijuana annually, making the
illegal pot the country's largest cash crop, bigger than corn and wheat
combined, according to a report by National Organization for the Reform of

U.S. households now own DVD players (81.2% of all households) than VCRs
(79.2% of households), according to the Nielsen Media Research's 3rd
Quarter Home Technology Report released today. Findings from this
quarterly study also show ownership of most media technology trending up
from previous years.
