$53.4M Goldman CEO Bonus Breaks Record: CEO Bonus by Numbers

Following its record breaking profits in 2006, Goldman Sachs breaks another record by paying its CEO Lloyd Blankfein $53.4 million in 2006 Bonus. It smashed the week long previous $40M bonus record held by John Mack, CEO of Morgan Stanley.

Nielsen Nov. Search Share Rankings: Ask.com Surpasses Google in Growth

Google continues to dominate the search with almost half the share of search market and generating over 3 billion monthly searches. However, in terms of year over growth, Ask.com has taken the lead in November with a 33% jump in search share versus 31% increase for Google, acording to the November 2006 data for the Top U.S. Search Providers from Nielsen//NetRatings (NTRT).

50% of 2007 Model Cars Sport iPod Integration

iPod integration is “the most sought after feature” by new car shoppers. Ssome 50% of 2007 automobile models sold in the U.S. will sport iPod integration, compared to last year's only 12% of vehicles for sale supporting true iPod integration, accoring to Telematics Research Group (TRG).

$7B Online Video by the Numbers: 70% are Active Viewers

In this age of YouTube, the rush of video content online has been met with near insatiable consumer demand, and intense advertiser interest. A new Burst Media survey found that 69.5% respondents actively view video content on the web. Annual U.S. revenues from Internet video services – spanning user-generated content to television shows and movies – will exceed $7 billion by 2010, according to Parks Associates.

Holiday Express: FedEx Moves Record 9.8M Packages Monday

FedEx is reported to have handled a record 9.8 million packages moving through the FedEx Express and FedEx Ground networks on Monday, Dec 18,  its busiest day in history, as shoppers sought to get their Christmas presents delivered on time.
