Chinese Electronic Information Products Exports to Jump 14% to $390B in 2007

China's export of electronic information products, including computers and communications products, is expected to grow 14% to $390 billion in 2007, according to China's Ministry of Information Industry, reports Xinhua. 

Foreign trade of the sector hit $520 billion in the first ten months of last year, accounting for 36.5% of China's total foreign trade in this period.

Large electronic information companies are expected to carry out overseas mergers and acquisitions or invest aboard to advance their overseas presence.

China will also improve the utilization of foreign investment and support multinationals to build research and development centers in China.
