Top 5 Search Engines in January; Searches Up 26% YoY to 6.6 billion
In
January 2007, Google share of online search in US jumped 0.2% to 47.5%,
according to comScore Networks qSearch analysis of activity across
competitive search engines in the US. Yahoo! Sites lost 0.4%
share to finish second with 28.1% of U.S. searches.
Americans conducted 6.9 billion searches online in January, up 2% from December and a 26% jump from the same month a year ago.
